Hi everybody. This year I am supporting the Rossendale Trust in Cheshire by running the London Marathon 2018 on their behalf. Many of you will know that I am already a regular runner, but only a relatively recent convert to running. I started 5 years ago, at the age of 56, after a ‘mini-stroke’ and the discovery of a minor heart condition. Fortunately this is not restrictive and since then I have run several marathons. That doesn’t make them any easier but, to make it extra challenging this year, I will be running three ‘big city’ marathons on three consecutive Sundays: Manchester on 8th April, Brighton on 15th April and London on 22nd April.
I'm inspired by the work of The Rossendale Trust and want to support them by raising money through my ‘marathon challenge’. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. The more people that know about The Rossendale Trust, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
